Tutor Perini Building Corp., a subsidiary of Tutor Perini Corporation, has been selected by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma for a $140 million renovation and expansion project at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola in Pocola, Oklahoma.
The project will upgrade existing casino and hotel facilities while adding new hospitality amenities to support future growth. Construction is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2026.
New hotel tower and resort upgrades planned
The project includes renovations to the existing hotel and casino, along with construction of a new adjacent seven-story hotel tower.
The scope of work includes:
- Interior and exterior renovations of existing hotel and casino spaces
- Improvements to food and gaming venues
- A new 130-room hotel tower
- A spa and fitness center
- A new pool complex
Tutor Perini Building Corp. has supported the project through the preconstruction phase since 2025. The company said the contract value will be added to its backlog as design milestones are completed and additional construction phases receive approval.

The Choctaw Casino & Resort project adds to Tutor Perini’s portfolio of complex commercial construction work. The company provides general contracting, construction management and design-build services for private and public-sector clients.
